Senior Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has clarified her recent viral remarks after social media users and pages linked a story she shared during a podcast to former couple Saira Yousuf and Shehroz Sabzwari.
Bushra Ansari explained that the story was actually about the son of close friends associated with the banking sector. She said she had not mentioned actors or identified the people involved in the story. According to her, social media pages used pictures of Saira Yousuf and Shehroz Sabzwari alongside her comments, creating a misleading impression.
The actress explained that the story involved a married couple whose relationship ended because of disagreements over living arrangements. She said the wife wanted to establish a separate home, while the husband preferred to continue living with his parents.
Bushra Ansari strongly rejected claims that she was referring to Saira Yousuf and Shehroz Sabzwari. She criticized the practice of taking comments out of context and presenting them in a way that creates a different narrative.
She also defended Saira Yousuf, describing her as a respectable person and highlighting her positive relationship with her daughter and members of her former in-laws’ family.
Bushra Ansari urged social media users not to believe or spread claims based on misleading interpretations. She reiterated that the story she discussed had no connection to Saira Yousuf or Shehroz Sabzwari.
