Sargodha: A collaboration agreement has been signed between Sargodha University and South China Agricultural University, China. The agreement was signed by Sargodha University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas and South China Agriculture University’s President Prof. Li Yang. According to the agreement, both universities will promote mutual cooperation in education, research, teaching, training, capacity building and other areas of mutual interest. Under the agreement, faculty, students, researchers, experts and other technical staff will be exchanged. Bilateral cultural activities will be organized by the Confucius Institute in Sargodha University to promote cultural harmony among the students. Joint research projects will be facilitated. Efforts to align the curriculum with modern requirements by setting up research centers are also part of the agreement. Similarly, short duration courses will also be offered. Short term seminars will also be organized to enhance specialized teaching and learning.
