The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a successful intelligence-based operation near the Regi Northern Bypass in Peshawar, resulting in the killing of two wanted terrorists, police officials confirmed.
According to authorities, the operation was launched after CTD received credible intelligence regarding the presence of suspected militants in the area. Acting swiftly, security personnel set up an ambush at a strategic location near the bypass.
During the operation, an exchange of fire took place between CTD officials and the suspects. As a result of the encounter, both militants were killed on the spot.
