Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan rejects age rumours, announces legal action

Popular internet personality and psychologist Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan has dismissed viral claims about her age, saying misleading social media posts have falsely linked old videos and images to incorrect timelines. She also announced legal action against individuals and pages responsible for spreading the misinformation.

Speaking during a recent podcast, Dr. Nabiha explained that the videos at the centre of the controversy were taken from her appearances on Kohinoor TV’s programme “Najoomi” in 2013 and 2014. She said these clips were wrongly presented online as footage from 1995, creating confusion about her age.

Dr. Nabiha said the claims circulating on social media are entirely false. She questioned how the footage could be from 1995, explaining that she was still very young at that time.

To support her statement, she shared a personal detail, saying her father passed away in 1993 while she was studying in the second grade, making the timeline presented on social media impossible.

She criticised the growing trend of sharing old videos and photographs with fabricated dates to attract attention and create controversy. According to her, such practices deliberately mislead the public and damage people’s reputations.

Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan also confirmed that she will pursue legal action against social media pages and individuals responsible for spreading false information about her age. She said those involved in sharing misleading content should be held accountable.

The controversy highlights the broader challenge of misinformation on social media, where old content is frequently reshared without context, leading to false narratives and public confusion.
