Her family immediately deposited Rs. 36,000 for the operation and Lady Dr. Romana operated on Asiya Bibi. Due to the delivery a month ago, the newborn’s condition deteriorated and the hospital did not have oxygen facilities. Due to which the newborn died after living for 36 hours, while the condition of Asiya Bibi is also critical. The family members staged a protest outside the KandianChashma Press Club. The family members have demanded notice of the matter from DC Mianwali and DPO Mianwali and other health authorities of Punjab and demanded strict legal action against the lady doctor involved in the incident.
