Overseas Pakistanis Mark Marka-e-Haq Victory Event In Dallas

A large gathering of overseas Pakistanis in Dallas came together to commemorate Marka-e-Haq Pakistan, marking the first anniversary of what organisers described as Pakistan’s victory in the May 5, 2025 conflict with India.

The event, titled MARKA-E-HAQ PAKISTAN – Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, Battle of Truth Victory Day, drew strong participation from the Pakistani diaspora. It was hosted by community leader Abdul Hafeez Khan and featured patriotic slogans celebrating Pakistan and its armed forces.

Among the chief guests were Nehal Hashmi and Syed Qamar Raza. Diplomatic representatives, including Usher Shahzad, along with journalists, business leaders, and community members, were also present.

During his address, Nehal Hashmi emphasized national unity and highlighted Pakistan’s resilience and military capability. He encouraged young Pakistanis to contribute to the country’s future, particularly in strengthening the economy.

Syed Qamar Raza focused on the economic importance of overseas Pakistanis, noting that remittances had reached significant levels and could further increase if expatriates used official banking channels. He stressed that stronger remittance inflows could help Pakistan reduce reliance on international financial institutions.

Senior journalist Sohail Warraich also spoke at the event, stating that Pakistan’s achievements were gaining recognition globally.

The programme concluded with prayers for the country’s stability, prosperity, and security. The event reflected strong engagement from the Pakistani diaspora in the United States, showcasing their continued connection and contribution to national causes.
