Sargodha (Soon Times), Deputy Commissioner Naila Baqir inspected the joint mock drills on the Jhelum River near Shahpur by the concerned agencies including Rescue 1122 and Civil Defense to deal with possible floods. AC Shahpur Anam Khan, Regional Emergencies Officer Dr. Faisal Mahmood and District Emergencies Officer Mazhar Shah and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion. The Deputy Commissioner said that the purpose of these exercises was to check the equipment used in flood operations. The protection of life and property of the people is the primary responsibility of state institutions. She also inspected the office of the Assistant Commissioner.
