A three-day curfew has been imposed in Nushki district, Balochistan, following a deterioration in the law and order situation. The Balochistan Home Department announced the restrictions as a precautionary measure to maintain peace, ensure public safety, and prevent further unrest in the district.
According to an official notification issued by the Home Department, the curfew will remain in effect until 8:00 PM on July 31. During this period, residents have been instructed to remain inside their homes, while all unnecessary movement and travel will be strictly prohibited without prior permission from the authorities.
The notification stated that the curfew was enforced due to the prevailing security situation in Nushki. Public gatherings, protests, processions, and other activities involving large groups of people have also been banned to reduce the risk of further disturbances.
Authorities clarified that the Deputy Commissioner has the authority to grant exemptions where necessary. Government employees performing official duties, medical staff, rescue personnel, and utility workers providing essential services will be allowed to move during the curfew under special permission.
The district administration has warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone violating the curfew orders. Citizens have been urged to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, remain indoors, and follow all official instructions until the restrictions are lifted.
Officials will continue to monitor the security situation throughout the curfew period. The temporary restrictions are intended to help security forces maintain stability, restore order, and protect the lives and property of residents in Nushki.
