Security forces have intensified Operation Shaban in Balochistan, killing six more terrorists and raising the total number of militants eliminated to 123 since July 5, according to security sources.
The joint operation, involving the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and Balochistan Police, was launched after the deadly terrorist attack on the Mangi Dam Police Post in Ziarat, where nine police personnel were martyred.
Authorities said intelligence-based operations (IBOs) are continuing across different parts of Balochistan through coordinated air and ground operations aimed at dismantling terrorist hideouts.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their successful operations, stating that the entire nation stands with the armed forces in the fight against terrorism. He reaffirmed that Operation Shaban will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
The ongoing offensive comes amid heightened security measures across Pakistan as authorities seek to restore peace and strengthen national security in the face of increasing militant activity
